Micki Cabaniss Eutsler Micki Cabaniss Eutsler
Micki started Grateful Steps upon retirement, after 39 years, from the practice of medicine. She is the author of “Fetal Monitoring Interpretation,” by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.

Micki is active in the community, helping to lead a project to obtain a multipurpose chapel for the local minimum-security prison, Buncombe Correctional Center.

Lindy Gibson
Mrs. Gibson received my B.S. in Business Administration at Pfieffer University. She worked for 7 years at Food Lion in the Expense Payables Department. 

She is the mother of two wonderful children, Hannah and Gabriel. and is grateful for family and opportunities that have been given to her.  She enjoys reading, scrapbooking and chocolate.

Shaye Gambrell

Shaye Gambrell-Marketing Consultant

A graduate of the University of Georgia in Drama and Journalism, she brings over 20 years of experience working coast-to-coast and internationally in business and non-profit management, journalism and education.

Michele Scheve 

Mrs. Scheve received her BFA in Communications from Loyola University in New Orleans, with a double minor in graphic and visual arts. She is the Art/layout consultant for Grateful Steps. She has over 15 years experience in publishing and graphic design and is publisher of the Asheville Disclaimer, a humor magazine, recently incorporated as a feature of Mountain Xpress.

Dan Cabaniss

Dan Cabaniss-Editorial Consultant

Dan is currently a professor of English and Journalism at Gainesville State College in Watkinsville, Georgia, and he is a former journalist at a number of publications, including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Mr. Cabaniss received his B.A. in English from Harvard University and his M.A. in English from the University of Georgia, and he has taught at universities in California, South Korea, and Georgia.

Stephanie DeLoach-Director of Children's Literature 

Stephanie received her B.S. Business Administration from Mars Hill College in 2007. Her area of interest is in organizational communication, children's and Christian literature.

She enjoys seeing people use their creativity and want to help people bring what seems impossible into reality. Wilmington is her favorite city in North Carolina. Dream vacations are Disneyworld at Christmas and Japan.

She loves photography, spending time outside, reading, and writing.


Sundara Fawn-Graphic Designer/Artist

Sundara received her BGA and MFA in painting from Northern Illinois University.  She creates original and commissioned works on canvas and also paints murals along with book layout, graphic design and illustrating books.

She loves to hike, garden and connect with nature every day.  Her daughter, Syvanah, is the most special blessing in her life.
